2011 Tryouts
Tryouts - April 14th, 2012
Tryouts are not a test. They are an opportunity for the coaches to evaluate a player's hitting, fielding, and running skills. Tryouts are a simple attempt to keep teams competitively balanced. Everyone who registers on time is placed on a team.
Tryouts for the 2012 season will be held on Saturday, April 14th at Sandburg Middle School, 2400 Sandburg Lane (see map below).
Players should wear tennis shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather.
TIME CURRENT GRADE
9:00 – 10:00 am 5th & 6th Graders – Jr League
10:00 – 11:00 am 3rd & 4th Graders – Jr, League
1:30 – 2:30 pm 7th & 8th Graders – Sr. League
2:30 – 3:30 pm 9th - 12th Graders – Sr. League
WHAT TO BRING:
• Wear tennis shoes – you will be timed running
• Your softball glove
• Wear clothes appropriate for the temperature. Weather permitting, some of the evaluation is done outside and the temperature may be cool and windy.
