GVGS's policy about playing in the heat is that we will cancel games whenever the heat index is 104 degrees F or higher, according to kare11.com.  If games are cancelled, we will use the website and the weather line to get the word out.

Our full heat policy is available on the weather page.  You'll also find information on Heat related injuries and what to do about them.

When it does get hot, make sure that you drink plenty of fluids.  Having squirt bottles of water or wet washcloths also helps, as does sitting in the shade.
