Senior/Alumni event, and Home Run derby take place Monday night

The Senior/Alumni event and the Home Run derby take place Monday July 25, at Lions 1 & 2.

Home run derby starts at 5:15. The Senior/Alumni games will start after that.

Ladies, please be to the park for the Home run derby by 5:15. All other 12th graders and alumni show up by 5:30 to warm up and set up teams.

The Senior/Alumni games will be played for fun. Our outgoing 12th graders will be recognized for their contributions to the league. Past players are invited back to swing the bat, make some plays and see their old friends and team mates.

Home Run Derby Details/Rules

1) HR Line (or tape) will be set at 180' (approximate distance to base of Medley 1 Hill)

2) Derby will be conducted over two rounds

- All participate in first round

- 2nd round will include top 4-5 from first round.

- Distance trophies will be determined during the 1st round

- Overall winner by 2nd round

3) Participants will hit until they reach a pre-determined number of "outs"

- 4 outs for 1st round

- 6 outs for 2nd round

*OUT equals any ball swung at or hit that does not reach the 180' mark
